Orlando/Memphis
Both the Orlando Magic and the Memphis Grizzlies struggled offensively with their season openers going easily Under, and we look for this to carry over into tonight.
The Magic were eight-point favorites at home in their opener vs. the Atlanta Hawks, but they disappointed the home crowd by managing just 85 points on a woeful 32 out of 87 from the floor. Orlando is not a good rebounding club either, so they may be a good Under team in the immediate future until they find their range from the perimeter, as this is not a club that gets many garbage second chance points.
The Grizzles at least had the excuse of opening on the road in Houston, but it is difficult to ignore the fact that they only scored 71 points on 31 for 81 shooting. Furthermore, the Under is 3-1-1 in the last five head-to-head meetings between these clubs, as well as a perfect 4-0 in the last four meetings here in Memphis.
