NBA Monday Game of the Year!!!

Im not sure what my record is for games of the week, month and year but I cant remember the last time I lost one. I've had 2 or 3 totals of the year this year which have all been winners. Love this game for tonight:

Denver -9.5

There are multiple factors leaning in Denver's favour for this game. The recent meetings between these two teams is pretty much even. New Jersey has won 6 and Denver 4 in the last 10 meetings dating back to '04. Altough going back that far is irrelevent because the teams were so different. New Jersey won the first meeting this year by 34. Ill touch on that later.

New Jersey is in the middle of a 5 game road trip. Having played last night in LA and losing to the Clippers 107-105.
New Jersey have been scoring as much as anyone lately. Going over in 100 a 6 straight games. Unfortunently that has not really helped them as they have only won 1 of those 6 games. Since the start of the January the Nets are 3-15 on the road with an average loss margin of 10 points.

Denver is in the middle of a 4 game home stand. With wins over the Clippers, OKC and a loss to the Rockets. Since the start of January the Nuggets are 12-4 at home. They have an average winning margin of 11 points with some quality wins in there aswell against San Antonio, Lakers, Portland abd Utah.

Lets not forget about the revenge factor. As I said earlier in the first meeting this year the Nets blewout the Nuggets 104-70. At the time the Nuggets were playing in the middle of a 8 game road trip. They were playing the 3rd game in 4 nights and had just blown out Washington the night before. So I could see how they could come out flat. Never the less they will not forget that game are going to come out and give the Nets some payback.

Devin Harris will most likely not play tonight as he landed hard on his shoulder in the 3rd quarter of last nights loss to the Clippers. Although it would not matter if he was playing.

Given all those facors I just mentioned. New Jerseys pathetic road record. Denver's good home record. The revenge factor. I think Denver beats a New Jersey team that is tired and most likely without it's best player. Blowout city tonight.

*20 Denver -9.5

Good luck all

GL Basden05! I hate giving that many points but will tail you on this one against a team that lost to the worst team of all teams, the Clippers ... yikes!

Thanks guys.

I don't like laying that many points either but it looks to good to pass us. Denver has beaten Portland by 16. The Lakers by 11 and San Antonio by 8 at home in the last month. I think they can do it too New Jersey
