NBA Totals Thread

I usually play totals a few months into the season on games that look like some sort of bait based on previous totals and scores.....havent really started in depth this year looking at them every night but I will do that starting now until the end of the year and I will keep it all in this thread just for totals.

1-3 unit system with the majority being 1's and saving the 2-3's for the obvious ones that stick out like a sore thumb.....Ill try to give a brief write up for each pick if possible.

Feb 1

1* Celtics Over 197

These two played in late November with a total of 183' and scored a total of 173....the 197 seems higher than what it should be set at so I will take a stab at the over (you get the idea)

2* Blazers Over 186.5

This game has a stink line all over it right from the start. They played exactly 4 weeks ago with a total set at 180 and promptly scored 169 points and now they open this game at 188 and it has been bet down instantly? I am going to wait to play this game tomorrow so I will post my line again when I lock in. I will play to win 2 units confidently.

1* Suns Over 224

Running with Porter as coach has the Suns stuck in mud and Shaq defintely hasnt made this team any better. Sacramento has never been known as a slow it down team either.....So let me ask you this....why has the total been over 220 for these two only once in their last 10 meetings? Makes no sense....they played once this year very early and scored 192 on a 203 total. I like this game to go over and obviously somebody else does also moving this number up 2 points already...Im playing this one now at the 224

I got 184 on the Blazers and I shouldve waited for the 222.5 on the Suns but will hope for the best with what I took.
