NBA Tuesday Game of the Month!!

Spurs -10.5

I've been waiting for this game for quite a while now. Tim Duncan is the only thing standing in the way of this being GOY material.

Ok lets look at the the last 10 games these two have played. They have each played 5 games at home. San Antonio is 7-3 going back too '06. Golden State can keep up with San Antonio at home but when they play in San Antontio they stuggle, big time. The Spurs average winning margin over Golden State in the last 5 home games is a whopping 24 per game. Simply put the Warriors suck in San Antonio.
Looking a little further into Golden States road woes. Since the start of January the Warriors road record is an abissmal 2-12. There average lossing margin in those games is 13 points. There only victories this year on the road were against Minnesota and New Orleans.
This game is more important for San Antonio than people think. They are coming off 2 close home losses in a row to Boston and Houston. Every game is crucial now for the Spurs as they are only a head of Denver, New Orleans, Portland and Utah by only 1 or 2 games. With road games coming up against the hot Atlanta Hawks (won 8 straight at home) and New Orleans you can bet San Antontio is going to come out and wanna take care of the Warriors tonight.
Manu Ginobilli is still out for the Spurs but the big one is Tim Duncan who is questionalble with a knee injury. He played in there last game against the Rockets. I still think Duncan will play. With or without him they will still cover the 10 points, Andris Beidrins and Jamal Crawford will miss the game with will Belinelli questionable.

If Duncan was %100 then this is a game of the year for me. As I said I still think he will play and the Spurs just dominate a Warriors squad that can not play on the road. Before gametime im gunna lay some money down on the first half as I think the Spurs come out and prove a point.

*12 Spurs -10.5

Good luck All

based on some logs i went through sunday's loss to houston was the first time the spurs had lost back to back reg season home games since 12-22, and 12-26 2006. i can't see too many people taking the warriors which makes nervous picking the spurs, but i'll have to join the masses on this one.

i'll rephrase...they lost two straight at home, but they weren't consecutive games. either way i think the warriors get it handed to them tonight. good luck folks.

Spurs would usually take a night off in such a game and barely squeak by for a win. However, since they lost #2 seed and lost a tough game against Boston and Houston I think they blow out the Warriors today who play like blind rats on the road.

This line is so fishy. it opens at Spurs -9.5 then drops to -8 and the action is on spurs at around 67%. Why the line drop. well anyhow good luck to those who played it.
Stay Up
