NBA Tuesday - GOM - *24 Unit play

Had a tough day yesterday with Orlando not covering and Denver screwing me out of my ML bet, but I'm back at it today. Seems like all I am good for are these big huge plays. Might just start picking my spots a little better rather than laying smaller amounts on spreads that I don't have the best angles on.

I love this Houston vs Utah game. Houston is surging right now and are peaking at the right time. They have already taken the #2 spot and are making a lot of noise. However, it's easy to play at home, and against weaker teams on the road. The only impressive wins IMO that Houston has had lately on the road were the Spurs and against the Nuggets a couple weeks back. It's really really hard to win in Utah. Players get gassed quick, crowd is on you, and it is IMO the noisiest arena to play in. Yao is going to have a tough tough time in Utah and that's the main reason I will be taking Utah. Also, Brooks against Deron Williams? Severe match-up problems. Dating back to the playoff series, these teams seem to trade games each year. Each team seems to only be able to win on their own home floor, that's how close they are talent wise.

I'll be taking the home team who has been hot as of late to knock off the Houston Rockets who I am not sold on yet. Yes they are playing great in the regular season but they are known chokers. They had their big win in San An, now it's time to lose.

The game should be pretty neck and neck but Utah will start pulling away in the 4th. Houston has no closer and as I mentioned, I don't think Yao will be much of a factor. Not to mention, it's hard to hit 3s in Mormon city, and that's what Houston really depends on, on the road. Will actually be laying 24 units on this game just because it works out better and gives me a nice rounded balance in my account.

*24 Utah -5.5

If you think it's gonna be close until the 4th, wouldn't it be better to wait for the 2H?

Regardless, GL and hope u cash it!

I agree with this logic ILB. I'm just not a fan of playing just one half. For some reason I just don't feel comfortable because sometimes you have no idea what each team will do coming out of the locker room.

Thanks everyone

Hope you're right Bisket. I'd love it if Utah could blow it open, they certainly will have the chances.
