Indiana at Atlanta

The Hawks look to clinch home-court advantage in the first round of the playoffs with their third straight win Friday night. Joe Johnson has really stepped it up this week, averaging 27.5 points, 7.0 rebounds and 4.5 assists in Atlanta's back-to-back wins, shooting 6-for-10 from 3-point range. To boot, he has averaged 27.3 points to lead the Hawks to a 2-1 record in the season series against the Pacers.

The Hawks are 29-10 at home, while Indiana is just 11-29 on the road. The Pacers are 1-5 ATS in the last 6 meetings in Atlanta, and 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games vs. a team with a winning SU record. The Hawks are 7-0-1 ATS in their last 8 home games vs. a team with a losing road record. Atlanta clinches the #4 seed and home-court advantage in the opening round with a win.

New Orleans at Dallas

The Hornets and Mavs are still fighting for playoff position in the West as both teams have clinched spots in the postseason. The Hornets, however, are 1-5 SU and ATS this year as a road dog of three and a half to six points, and are 5-9 ATS their last 14 overall. They are 3-15 SU and 6-12 ATS their last 18 trips to Dallas.

The Dallas offense has been Mav-olous, averaging 135 points per outing the last two contests and they are 13-5 ATS as home favorite.
The Hornets are seven-point underdog and are 8-20 ATS in that role. The home team is 8-3 ATS in the Southwest Division series with the UNDER 9-2 in Big D.

recommend:Atlanta-1.5 with Dallas -3 (TEASE)
