Nuggets Practised Zone Defense Yesterday to shut the lakers down so they have to shot from the Perimeter...

Now if they are successfull with this for even a 1 quater then the total bet is in trouble...

Just sharing as these are the change of plays that teams do that kill Bets that we should normally win..

Sportsguy all teams like to pratice zone defense, and force the outside shots, but the thing is, denver has nobody that can gaurd kobi and stop him in the paint no matter how good they try to protect the circle..... If denver tries to make this a "half court game" you'll see alot more transition points from the lakers and fast break points because denver gives up enough turnovers in the zone as they do on the perimeter and this will also give the lakers alot more second chance shots in my opinion because of long rebounds if they are shooting perimeter....... The key for denver in my opion is to force kobi, double & triple team him everytime he gets the ball and force bad passes or desperation shots........ But then you still got gasol to deal with in the post..... which is almost impossible to do when both kobi and gasol are on the floor... this is why i don't see this game changing much from last game, it might be alittle different in the first 6 minutes but if it isn't working against the lakers then denver will go straight back to the pass and shoot and weak defense
