I placed a wager on Lakers to win the NBA Championship prior to the start of the Jazz series and I was able to get 9/4. Layed 2 to win 4.5. Take the odds while you can, because once this Jazz series is over in 5 it's going to drop.

well celtics defense is pretty lock-up @ boston with home court advantage. i just feel they are growing since this is their first season together in a playoffs. i can see lakers celtics going down to the wire...

It's hard to believe this is the same 66 win Celtic team that was an impressive 25-5 against the Western Conference. Struggling through 7 games against the Hawks, and probably will go through 7 games against the Cavs based on their game 1 performance.

Who would be favored between the Lakers and Celtics if they meet in the Finals? I know the Celtics are slight favorites, but is that cause they play in the East and have an easier road to the Finals?

It helps for the odds on favorite to be Celtics at the moment because as you said the path to the finals is much easier. Lakers, for example, would have to beat the Jazz and then the winner of the Hornets/Spurs. At the moment I think Celtics would be slight favorites in the series because of the home court advantage. However, if Celtics keep playing like their playing, things could change come Finals time.
