Oklahoma City To Be Known As The Thunder

Oklahoma City will name its team the Thunder, according to a report from a local ABC affiliate.

Website domains were reserved under okcthunderbasketball.com, but the team hasn't officially announced its name, logo or colors. The franchise renounced its rights to the name 'Supersonics' as part of the agreement that brought them to OKC.

I can already hear AC/DC's Thunderstruck blasting over the PA.

Evan: What? One name? ONE NAME!?!? Who are you? Seal?
Seth: Fogell, this ID says that you're 25 years old. Why wouldn't you just put 21, man?
Fogell: Seth, Seth, Seth. Listen up, ass-face: every day, hundreds of kids go into the liquor store with fake IDs, and every single one says they're 21. Pssh, how many 21 year olds do you think there are in this town? It's called f*cking strategy, alright?

I hear crickets chirping in the arena after a few losing seasons.

Good luck with that owner OKC.

doesnt matter...nba is on a downswing soon...usd blows azz and probably will continue to do so...euro so strong and can lure people over there if they can find it within their mindset to allow themselves to leave their comfort zone and open up for something new...okc wont be the only place hurting in the next few years...unlike mlb and nfl, basketball is played all over the world and eventually more will decide that may be the best thing for them...the other 2 major sports the peeps dont have such an option

Haha, kudos for admitting that bozzie. I have never seen anything like it here. There was a 2 hour line at the apparrel store when word that a new shipment of Thunder gear arrived.
I may be biased, but I really think they are one of the most exciting teams in the league to watch.
