One big system play for tonight

Been ridiculously hot on my system of late (13-1-1 over my last 15!) ..... hope to keep it going with a very strong play tonight.

Houston -7- over Portland

Even if Roy/Aldridge play (and that's not a foregone conclusion), I love this pick. As is always the case with my system plays, Houston has an enormous inside / rebounding advantage over Portland. Plus, Portland doesn't play so uptempo that they can neutralize this advantage to any degree. Houston has predictably beaten Portland three times in a row (and I think 8 of last 10). Houston is on fire - playing VERY well of late, while Portland has been coming back down to earth. The Rockets are not the kind of team Portland will turn their streak around against - they're just too solid inside. I expect this game to be a blowout of at least 20-25 points.

Not usually one to toot my own horn....but this streak is RIDICULOUS. I'm now up to 14-1-1 in my last 16. Even though this system has only had one losing season since I started it in 1991, I don't ever recall a streak like this. Hope to keep it rolling and make the mall's members some $$$$$......
