One total play!

I think I've learned my less on not to play sides. last night went 0-4 on sides for -9 units.. I'm going to stick to totals, and I have one for tonight:

Spurs/Bobcats UNDER 196.5 (2.2 units)

It seems everyone and their brother jumped on the OVER of this game, which would make sense: Lakers at home, pound the Bobcats for 130 points...well...maybe, but not likely

I first looked at these teams past meetings like always, and saw that in their last 5 meetings the total has been over 200 points. Well, out of those 5 games they went UNDER three of them, and two of the five were OT games.

Secondly, a big part of betting unders for me is looking at a teams possessions per game. The less possessions the better. It means the teams are going to be using a lot more of the shot clock. That said, the Bobcats are one of the lowest in the league: 89 possessions a game, and they average only 91.6 points per game, and allow only 93.4 points a game. In their last 8 games they haven't let their opponent over 100 points.

The Lakers on the other Hand have 94 possessions per game, and average 107.6 for and 98.8 against. They can score the ball, and the Bobcats wont really be able to stop them, but they can keep the pace of the game slow enough that the score wont go to high.

I'm hoping the game will be something like 100-85ish

Good luck!
