Pat Riley wins Executive of the Year no matter what

Right? I mean no matter what you think of it, fact is he pulled off signing the top 3 free agents available.

Have to give him credit. Knicks hate him more now

Jack don't believe this was his doing, this was the three players themselves doing on where they wanted to go. I am sure BinLaden could of been President of the Basketball organization and if they wanted to go to that city or team they still would of.

No I disagree. Don't underestimate the Pat Riley presentation. It's a factor I believe. It helps they wanted to but Riley deserves credit

good to see you cpt

I agree, don't underestimate Riley's involvement in this and probably a bunch of other key (behind the scene) players either.

This is what you call marketing brilliance.

yes he does. he got inside info on this 2 years ago and seems to have been making moves ever since.

once again this is a brilliant move until Dwayne Wade gets hurt and is out for 20 games and the heat go on a 8-12 run

if he can somehow get Cleveland to agree to sign and trade for Lebron then he gets executive of the year no matter what.

Lets not put the cart before the horse here, the season hasnt even started yet. As we know, when you have 3 egos the size of these guys, there is a chance it could blow up in their face.

What if the Heat finish 3rd in the Conference & go out in the first round? Not exactly Executive material in my eyes, but thats just 1 mans opinion.

Spoelstra is Riley's student, different than Van Gundy. He came through the bottom & worked his way up. Wade is on record liking him a lot. I think they give him some room but can't deny that he'd better win or Riley will take over. JMO

Would be great to see the Heat get plagued by injuries now. Sure would be a shame to see Bosh blow those skinny ass knees out. Yup.

Yea. He's said that twice I believe.

Plus Spoelstra puts their entire playbooks on Ipod touches for his players.

I think it's funny when people root for injuries to players because they left their team.

Also everyone hates these 3 now when there is not one sport fan (whether they admit it or not) that would not be 100% estatic if those 3 signed with their team.

True?
