Perkins

http://nbcsports.msnbc.com/id/377308...s-player_news/

Looks like hes going to try to play tomorrow.

He's key to Boston winning...After he went out, it wasnt even close...

Still think lakers take game 7

my guess is that what he will mostly bring them is (a) an emotional lift (ala Willis Reed), and (b) 6 fouls to use up against LA's big men...

yes, Perk is important to Boston's game... but man, i can't tell you how many times in this series i watched him give up an offensive rebound to Bynum or Gasol because he didn't box out... and if Perkins isn't getting rebounds, and keeping the other team off of the glass, he is completely worthless! his offensive game is as inept as any big man in the NBA, and he is frequently a liability on that end of the court...

if a healthy Perkins can't get a rebound, a hobbled one isn't going to either...

thanks for the update...

Agree with you...but have to like perkins playing big rather than rasheed wallace starting...

does this help or hurt the celts? Have to like the 7 points with the celts?

well, of course it doesn't help the Celtics... if nothing else, it takes them out of their normal 4-man rotation of their Big Men... i hate what Perkins costs them on offense... even the most basic plays he cannot execute properly, he is extremely lazy with his passes, he doesn't always rotate to the right spots...

but his defensive impact is undeniable...

if Bynum is severely limited, it's all a wash...

It's going to be interesting to see an injured Perkins and a hurt Bynum in Game 7. I'm excited about the game tonight!

i don't think you will be seeing Perkins doing anything except cheering... or scowling...

with both Bynum and Perkins pretty much non-factors in this game, i'm surprised more people don't like the over... two most important defensive players both off the floor changes the game...
