PittVipers Wednesday Game Of the Month

Partially because this is my first NBA wager of the year, haha, but this play really does look solid.. I wanted to play the full game, as I see Toronto winning by 13, but I think the second half wager would be a much better, smarter idea as the first half should be fairly close... Toronto will have the fresher legs in the 2nd half and the crowd motivation, which is crucial after an overtime game the night before in another city.. Toronto will get revenge tonight after the O.T loss in Washington last night..
Washington by 3-7 @ half would be nice... but no matter 1st half score

8 units - Toronto Raptors -/+ ? (2nd half)

Cash it!

PV--I wish you the best of luck, but how can you put out a play (GOM no less) that is a second half bet, without: seeing the first half go by, and knowing what the line will be for the second half ?

Evan: What? One name? ONE NAME!?!? Who are you? Seal?
Seth: Fogell, this ID says that you're 25 years old. Why wouldn't you just put 21, man?
Fogell: Seth, Seth, Seth. Listen up, ass-face: every day, hundreds of kids go into the liquor store with fake IDs, and every single one says they're 21. Pssh, how many 21 year olds do you think there are in this town? It's called f*cking strategy, alright?

because Toronto will not have a double digit lead at half
I am fairly confident that this game will be played out as a tight tough first half, with Torontos legs pulling away in the 2nd half..
and if i'm wrong with that, then I shouldn't win, but there is still a chance that i could win.. say Washington has a big lead 1st half, id rather have Toronto 2nd half, then have Toronto -9.5 for the game...

Maybe not the traditional play, but in my brain it is the smart play..

lol.. thanks guys..

sure the logic to some may not make much sense
but I see this as the smartest bet... sometimes you just have to ride your gut feelings, and that is what i'm doing..

thanks to all, and GL

it kinda makes sense but without knowing the line it will be tough... what if there is an injury and the line is messed up for 2nd half?
wouldnt it be better to play the game and then either hedge or chase in the 2nd half?

good luck either way!
