The Public

Unreal how the public cashed in on this series. The books lost serious money on this series altogether. I didn't bet this game because of what has happened throughout the last few games.

The Lakers lost every game ATS. The public took it on the chops. Again we have the worst gamblers in the nation (except Poker) wagering on their favorite team, and the oddsmakers adjusting for that. Remember, the Lakers were 3/2 to win it all even though Boston had the home court advantage, and a huge 2-3-2 format break. Boys if you could not see this one coming, I don't know what to tell you.

Pub this pub that....bullshit.

It was so obvious who the superior team was. the squares were on the fakers and kobe....softies.

People actually thought they were a good team. The west coast is full of soft ass teams except the spurs. Unluckily for the western conference the spurs ran out of gas. I expect to see Celtics vs. Spurs next year if the spurs can bring a bench and some youth in.

The public hammering the Celtics? May I ask on which planet, because it certainly was not this one. The only game that the public went big for Boston was game 6. If the public hammered the Celtics, why were they a better than 3-2 dog going into the series, even though they had home court advantage?

A big part of why Joe Pub AND the books were wrong was they placed to much stock in Kobe Bryant. Can he dribble past and dunk over 3 defenders? No. Is he the best in the game right now? Probably. Would he be my number 1 pick for my team? NO...He is soft, not a championship player and not superman. He doesn't have a pippen, or a parker and ginobili, or guess what...a Shaquille O'neal. Gasol and Odom just aren't going to cut it.

There was sooooo much hype surrounding Kobe and the Fakers that you all almost got me caught up. I liked Boston and then backed off for every game but Game 6 because you all were on them so hard. Kobe is the team leader. When your leader is SOFT, your team will be SOFT. Books don't use a vaginal index to determine how pussy a team is.
