Raptor Rumour Mill

Has been turning. Local news reportign Colangelo is in a "retool" not a rebiuld mode.

one trade has the disgruntled turkoglu headed to the suns for Barbosa.

Second trade has jose calderon headed to bobcats.(who just lost felton) for tyson chandeler and boris Diaw...

So pending these trades along with the nuggets to match klieza we look like..

Chandler-Bargnani
Johnson-Davis-Evans
Diaw-Kleiza
DeRozan-Weems-Belinelli
Jack-Barbosa-Banks

Can you say lotto pick? Maybe the 8th seed....just maybe.

Would Tyson Chandler be an upgrade?

Diaw & Barbosa are Colangelo guys only because he knows them from Phoenix. But I've at least heard of Chandler. He any good?

I heard this morning that Denver will not be matching the offer the Raptors gave to their player. Not sure how good he is, but I guess us Toronto fans will very soon find out lol.

Matt Barnes will be joining the Toronto Raptors!

The deal, which is scheduled to be finalized on Tuesday, will pay Barnes nearly $10 million over the next two seasons, according to sources close to the process.

sounds like Toronto and Orlando can't work out sign and trade for Barnes so he might not be going there.

Shep guessing no one else is offering anywhere near the money Toronto is to Barnes. Can you blame him for taking the biggest paycheck?

that's a good question, i'll admit... but the only reason it's a good question is because i am of the opinion that Matt Barnes is not really anything special in the NBA...

personally, i think the guys who know they are the shit will go for a title when the opportunity is there, and the guys who know they are lucky to be getting a big paycheck, will take the big paycheck...

Barnes is the latter...
