The real Lakers MVP

Of course Kobe deserved the MVP this year but the Lakers are in the finals because of Paul Gasol.

So the real MVP are the Memphis Grizzlies!

True or False?

Absolutely true. Without Gasol, the Lakers are a good team, but not a title contender. He was the difference.

yea i guess. but only because bynum was hurt.

Gasol doesnt add ANY defense to the lineup, which is what would worry me if i was the lakers.

Your real MVP besides kobe is someone who i have never liked as a player, LAMAR ODOM.

anyone that follows this team and tells you different is wrong.

I'll tell you different. Odom was there at the beginning. Gasol opened up the offense, which is eactly why the Lakers got him. I certainly agree with you about Odom. Talk about being here one game and gone the next.

obviously gasol added to the offense, he has great touch around the rim and is a smart player. This team is NOT deep up front, Gasol gets pushed around like a girl on defense and that leaves Turiaf at most down low as a true Power forward.

If you think that Gasol and Turaif, (who are the ONLY true lakers 4 and 5 spots that get playoff minutes), then you are missing it.

Lamar who is a true 3 and has NEVER been a 4 had to change his game almost completely this year. He went from a selfish underachieving freak of nature, to a complete team player that might be one of the most talented players in the league. In just one season.

Gasol helped , but no Western Conference Championship without Lamar.

gasol sucks

great touch ? smart player ?

Seems like the complete opposite actually... Maybe thats just for the playoffs though. Bulls his way in the paint and takes some of the worst shots I have seen in my life.

I think odom is the key on the team myself so I agree there

I get a little carried away with him... He caused me too much stress with some of the lakers ML plays ive made. Thought he was gonna cost me a key with some of the many bonehead plays he makes per game.
