they're starting him there but he's not doing very well at it...5 assists per game as a starting nba pg is a joke

lol. a 20 year old playing on a team who hasn't had an all-star in 10 years and you complain about not enough assists.

classic.

bulls win.

2 wins on their circus trip. a trip they are 6-53 or something absurd since jordan retiring.

rose literally won both games by himself for the bulls.

not bad for a guy who would never have success at the NBA level.

already got his team 1/3 of their output in his 4 games compared to 6 wins in the previous 9 years lol.

forgive me if these circus trip stats are wrong, btw, i can admit when i'm wrong. time for someone else to chime in and do the same. barring health issues, rose is ROY and starting @ PG for the east this year.

rose has even exceeded my expectations.

i was genuinely the only person i knew, maybe a couple others, who wanted rose over beasley once the bulls won the 1st pick.

i've never seen a player like him. he's in his first season playing with a bunch of scrubs. their best scorer is ben gordon and he's off the bench half the time and he still averages almost 7 dimes a game and 20 points.

to wonder about what he can turn into in the next few years is just scary, it really is. people always say the sky is the limit about certain players but in his case its never been more true. not a knock of beasley but i just hope everyone who told me i was nuts for wanting rose over beasley understands why now.

Was never a doubt for me who i wanted and that was Rose. I used to follow him around in H.s. like some jonas bros fanatic and he just was the shit then and is the shyt now. He wins basketball games, plain and simple.

The sooner we unload Pax and get rid of the Shooting guard/power forward draft boners of the past 5 years we can move forward.

Gordon is only one who can score on team on a consistent basis and he can;t create his own shot...I'd trade Hinrich for anything at this point

ben gordon has no long-term value on this team at all, he's useless as far as i'm concerned, and the bulls shouldn't want to pay kirk as much as they're paying him to either come off the bench or be an undersized 2 guard.

i still don't know what to think of luol deng. he seems like he already peaked, but i think if he can learn how to play with rose it will only benefit him.

if tyrus thomas is waiting to do something even somewhat worthy of a 1st round draft pick, i'd love to see it. bulls need to do a lot of in-house renovating but you can see what rose brings already. they may end up with 3 wins on their circus trip this year which is just unheard of seeing as we've haven't even got 10 in the last 9 seasons combined. rose is genuinely more than half the reason for that.

as for rose in high school, i have a friend who's brother played basketball in chicago, same age as rose, ended up getting a ride at bradley. the friend is who turned me on to rose, even got to see him play once in person while he was still in high school.

i never saw a kid look like he didn't belong (or in this case, 9 kids look like they didn't belong) on the same court as someone like this game. he is so fast tv could never do him justice. cant stop rambling lol, just love having a superstar again.
