they have a back court of kevin martin and aaron brooks, i wouldn't exactly call them stacked.

they have a few nice players, but stacked definitely not the word i'd ever use to describe the houston rockets.

as i stated in my play thread tonight, this game just a small blip on lakers radar, would not carry much weight on this game.

good points. I have money riding on them tonight too. they have a pretty decent bench with Brad Miller, Chase Budinger and Courtney Lee. I don't think that the Rockets will have more success this year than the Lakers though. as long as they can stay healthy, they should be a top 4 or 5 team in the West

lakers thunder portland nuggets mavs probably all ahead of houston. utah a possibility too

they have nice role players and complimentary guys but without yao for any consistent minutes per game they are lacking, JMO

Lakers, Jazz, Thunder, maybe Portland but I don't think Dallas will be a top 5 team this year. the Nuggets are not going to be that good IMO, Memphis might surprise the West standings as well
