Baskets Are Going As To Plan According To My Style Of Handicapping.... Last Night Was A Winner On The Under But Unfortunatley I Didnt Get A Chance To Post....now Tonight A Lot Of Good Handicappers Here At This Forum Are Running With Utah Tonight.....after Their Last Game They Can Only Play Better Right???? Everyone And Their Mother Thinks So... Yet For Some Reason The Line Still Opened At 7 As The First Game And The Total Opens At 210 Lower Than The 212.5 It Closed On Sunday....now In My Opinion This Total Line Shouldnt Have Opened Lower If Everyone Expects The Jazz To Play Better Cut Down On Turnovers, Continue Rebounding, Etc,etc....it Just Makes No Sense To Me That This Total Isnt At 212 The Very Least...... So Im Going To Play A Bigger Than Normal Play ( 5k ) On The Under In This Game Being Of What The Public Percieves And Discussions With My West Coast Contacts ...im Not Going To Call It A Playoff Total Of The Year Although It Sets Up Nicely..... Make No Mistake...this Is A Very Solid Play Before This Series Gets To Utah Imo ...i Will Also Take The Lakers Once Again Here As Like I Said In My Playoff Game Of The Year Post...utah Hasnt Won Or Covered Here In L.a. For A Long Time...many People Will Think At Least That Utah Will Cover....but I Smell Something Brewing In The Air....so Beware!!! Best Of Luck Mallers

Rookie, I agree with your take on the Lakers game. The thing people don't take into account when looking at the public betting % is that just because more number of bets are on one side, it doesn't necessarily mean more money is on that side. The average better (which comprises the majority of the bets) will bet a minimal amount on each game. The so-called "sharp" bettors will have a large amount on each game. This is a game where the average public bettor will be on the Lakers and all the "sharp" money coming on the Jazz. At the end of it all, the money on each side will be close to 50/50 at least. I like the under on the game too but decided to lay off and just take the Lakers at -7. Good luck tonight Rookie!

sorry guys...didnt think utahs big boys get in foul trouble early....that made it into a back and forth shooting match as evident of the 2nd and 3rd quarter points....lakers were the better play...yet i myself was fooled by the such a low total.... but i will play that total again in a heartbeat.....i will let everyone know that i will be playing the lakers again when they go to utah on friday.... i think imo they cover that game .....hoping to see the line around 4.5...cross our fingers...see ya all tomorrow
