i cant believe the fact that i am actually going to post this play , but imo i think that today is going to be the day that the cleveland cavaliers have a shot at winning... the other night the cavs were probably the false favorite of the year against the pistons and pretty much showed that with the outcome.... but i think tonight they have a real good shot at not only covering but winning this game against the clippers.

first of all the clippers are on a brutal road trip ~ this will be their 6th road game in 11 days and their 3rd in just 4 days... not to mention that weds game was a shootout with ny in which both teams shot at a high percentage ( lac 54.7% ny 49.4% )...the last time the clips did this on the road was on 1/21 against dallas... subsequently the following game on the road the next day ~ they lost to the rockets... the opponent rebounding against these clippers on this road trip has shown that they are getting a little tired and maybe just lazy but overall just inconsistent to what they normally do... i just think that after the the duds they showed in miami and orlando combined with their last game with ny that the public will think they are back on track.... i beg to differ that things are and that they will overlook this cavs team without much thought tonight.

the cavs are by far just as good as a state championship team but have shot 51% in their last 2 home games... this compares to the 43% that they actually have done for the season... they have had b2b games against dallas,whom we saw last night, and detroit in which they held them both to 41% and 43% shooting in close losing efforts... this is actually the best 2 games they have played defensively in over a month or 20 games... it may not seem like much with all the losses that are mounting ~ but when you are 2nd to last in opponent fg% giving up an average of 48% ~ thats a big plus no matter how you look at it.... the problem the cavs have been having is stopping the 3pt... but with the above mentioned about the clippers and the clippers 26th ranked .336% with 3pointers, i dont think that there will be that much of a problem tonight...

its really hard to back a terrible team as these cavs against anyone, i know for a fact that the Mcdonald's all-american basketball team would crush this team, but i believe that there are times when a team catches another team off guard and are in a right position to win a game they shouldnt any other day..... that day is today with these cavaliers as many will be looking for them to break their streak against washington ~ but IMO with all the people on the coattails of these clippers because of the Blake factor, combined with everything i mentioned....not to also mention that the clippers are 1-7 SU in their last 8 roadies and they get a team of referees who have combined 14 out 16 games since 2010 STRAIGHT UP AGAINST THE CLIPPERS !!!
