well this is my biggie for the first round thus far.... this line for tonights game is the same as it was on april 3, 2011 ... in that game the trailblazers just blew the mavs out in the first half by 21 points .... fast forward ahead to these playoffs between these two and the mavs at home had a +10 margin after the first half 47-37 in game 1 .... game 2 the blazers adjusted and played a better first half and had a lead of 52-50 after the 1st half despite losing .... i have to think that coming back home after dallas down 2-0 will have these blazers fired up early as the case on April 3rd.... they made adjustments to keep the game close in the first half but still failed to close the game.... there is no excuse for the blazers in this home opener for them... they MUST get out early and keep pressing the pace forcing the mavs to get out of their game plan.... Jason Kidd will not be a factor in this game and dirk will not be able to carry this team all by himself on his back.... someone else will have to contribute and that is why this game will be close late.... all the playoffs games shift to their opponents court and we will all wonder can the dogs continue their winning ways???? ...

IN MY OPINION NOT IN THIS GAME

the mavericks are not only a terrible first round team but they are even more so terrible on the road in the first half ..... since 07-08 in the playoffs the dallas mavericks are 3-8 ATS in the first half on the road....

with the blazers desperate for a win in front of a home crowd and the continual mavericks letdown early in playoff games on the road.... this just is too good to pass for me !!!!
