Rose vs Beasley

I agree Rose is by far the better player but I don't understand the general hate on Beasley. Look at the stats for the year. Rose is a starter averaging 17 points a game and averages 37 minutes a game compared to Beasley who averages 14 points a game coming off the bench and averages 24 minutes a game. You have a guy playing over 1 quarter more a game on average. Beasley is young but damn Solid. There is no doubt he will be a 20/10 starter very soon and is shooting over 47% for the year. I will take that all day from a Rookie.

because rose is a point guard... he's the new breed of point guard yes, but still a point guard. he's looking to distribute more than score.

i don't think anyone hates on beasley at all, he's a natural there's nothing to hate on and he'll be a stud for years to come

comparing the 2 is apples and oranges though IMO

I completely understand what your saying but if you look at the new breed of point guards these ballers are scorers.

Beasley is too small to play the 4 and honestly doesn't have the ball handling skills to consistently play the 3. He is a classic "tweener". IMO, he will end up a 12/6 guy. If that team didn't have Wade, he'd be a even worse.

putting up 17 a game on a team of scrubs not half bad

i think if you add an all-star to the bulls like parker, billups, williams, paul etc have, you'll see his numbers go up significantly, scoring and distributing

after watching just about every game the bulls played this season I can honestly say that sometimes rose looks to differ more than take over. i think that's got more to do with his age and being a rookie than it does his actual ability to score. i mean a guy isn't gonna get his career high his rookie season in his first ever playoff game on a fluke, he can clearly take over just about whenever he wants and at the very least get to the rim whenever he wants. IMO it's just a matter of him deciding he wants to do it rather than overdo trying to be the prototypical NBA point guard which is most certainly isn't

Rose is very good now! The amazing thing is he still has lots of upside! A superstar in the making.

12-6 dude ur crazy and if Wade didn't have Shaq the Heat would have no ring. I hate the if the team didn't have this or because they have that factor. That is always going to happen. Would the Cavs be this good without Mo Williams. What happen to the lakers when they got Gasol ect...... it never ends.

The only way Beasley averages 20+ on a regular basis is if he plays for a bad team. Bad teams always have a 20 pt scorer b/c they get 30 shots a night. I like Beasley, but he is a hair above average right now. He has lots to learn. Should have stayed at KSU for another year or two.

Its simple, no Wade means every team's defensive scheme centers around stopping Beasley. Sorry but he isn't good enough to outperform defenses designed to stop him. Beasley is part of the defensive discussion, but no team is keying on him right now b/c the Heat has Wade.

Beasley is a pretty tough guard 1 on 1 going to the rim with his 1st step. He has plenty of room to improve but I would say most rookies do. On that note, Good Night Fellas.

someone needs to actually coach beasley. in game 1 he took 5 ugly unnecessary shots. right now hes still a work in progress, but yes hes a tweener. to small for the 4, to slow and not a good enough shot for the 3. good news hes got alot of potential and he can only go forward. bad news is right now hes the 6th or 7th best rookie.

beasley still young and very raw. he wasnt coached at k-st. he'll be a solid player give him time
