On a scale of 1 to 10, your opinion of the NBA
Rate it based upon how much you like to watch it, bet on it, talk about it, what have you. I have been very curious to see what everybody really thinks about the NBA.

Positives I have:
> Still by far the best basketball talent on the planet. > Towards the end of playoffs becomes exciting. > That finally the NBA has run itself into the ground monetarily and maybe just maybe they will finally figure out that guaranteed contracts for a non-guaranteed performance is perhaps the stupidest thing they ever did. Negatives I have: > Regular Season too long > Season so long teams and players take games off all the time, no consistency > BS injuries that take players out for 4-6 weeks before playoffs so they can really rest > Referees and NBA higher ups in cahoots to "control", not "fix" games > Referee who fixed games tries to explain himself and come clean is told he is a rogue one-man thing and nothing to see here > Since Jordan-days every player wants to be like Jordan and hardly any teams are teams anymore, they are a star or two with a bunch of "helpers" > Player salary cap in place because owners cannot control themselves

i like it because square plays seem to be hitting more frequent this season and i'm a public bettor
wish the league was a bit tougher, this trickles down to the kids there is not a more annoying athlete than a pick up basketball player in north america, play pick up in europe, different game, forces you to become a better player also wish TNT did the nba finals, rather than ABC, it just gets annoying also wish all star game was USA vs the world, would make it more fun
