The Scary Thing About The Miami Heat...

Is that the team you saw this year will probably be the worst team they will have in the next 5 years

your probably right, but alot can change in the nba. what if the lakers trade bynum for dwight howard? im not saying it will happen, but there are major moves that can happen to shift the power. There are no guarantees. Take your ring when you have the chance.

it will probably be the same talent wise every year, unless they find some gems in the draft or ownership is willing to exceed the salary cap dramatically

lol does anyone even know the CBA situation for next year? let alone the next 5 years?

what are you basing this fact of yours on guy? the fact that 6'8" 265lbs super athletes cannot maintain an elite level of athleticism as they get older? the fact that dwyane wade's body has absorbed a TON of mileage for his age and will undoubtedly begin the REGRESSING point of his career within the next 5 years?

the fact that almost everyone on their bench is on the wrong side of 30 and is playing for the league minimum? are you telling me that you're somehow sure of the fact that in a couple of years, lebron will suddenly not be scared to death of shooting or even touching the ball in an nba finals game?

you're probably right though lol..

be realistic and realize that unless chalmers becomes drastically more consistent, miami will never have anyone outside of the big 3 to win them games in the playoffs and honestly shouldnt need anyone outside of the big 3 to win them games in the playoffs.

the only thing i can say for your point is they still have time to right some wrongs, and they'll still get more time to get familiar with eachother etc. i said it from the start when these 3 figured it out it would be scary for the nba but they clicked and were playing at the highest level possible in the playoffs and they completely shit themselves.

Didn't know Juwan Howard had so much potential.

Who cares? They've already under achieved big time. They set the bar so high for themselves that anything but a championship is a complete failure year after year. It's like Team USA losing to Argentina a few years back. You're expected to win when you assemble that kind of talent, and when you don't it's considered a choke job. They did it to themselves.
