Shouldn't they lengthen the season a bit more?

Come on now, they're only 7 game playoff series, they could easily extend those to 11. And 82 regular season games? heck it's only been a total of 9 months so far, i can't believe anyone can figure out who is good and who isn't with such a short schedule.
