Question Sign and Trade - Good for NBA or not?

Do you like teams do this? Does it hurt the NBA? or does it matter little?

What do you think?

I don't know much of the details of what it all entails but the little I read seems like it helps out the teams in regards to salary cap relief. It also compensates the team that is losing the high level free agent some.

Overall I think the NBA trade rules of matching up salaries has to be overhauled. It seems like when trades happen they are so onesided.

it's not a perfect science, but at least it creates a system where players don't leave a team completely high and dry when they leave...
