Spurs and lakers lose gm 1 at home, is there a changing of the guard in the west?

Or will they still both win their series?

Best teams in the West are now from the Central Time Zone.

Your judging 1 game vs 82? Yes the gap is closing but there is a reason why the Spurs and Lakers are #1 and #2 seeds.

Seems a bit early to write them off. Young inexperienced teams should have a hard time beating these 2 veteran teams.

game 1 winner has a solid winning % historically is I think what he is talking about

Lakers have lost 6 of thier last 7 and the 1 they won they were lucky Kings didnt foul up 3 with 4 seconds, so it could have easily been OFOR last 6 going into this series. Now they lose game 1 to make it 7? I think there is reason for concern, not seeing the carried away part.

Both spurs and lakers played poorly late in the regular season which caused spurs to lose the #1 overall seed to the bulls and the lakers were fortunate to hold on to the 2 seed in the west. So losing today means both teams have not righted the ship yet. I do think both should bounce back and win gm 2 to even the series but now they may be in for a long series even if they won the series.
