System Play Again! 1-1 so far
Wow - I like to wait until the week of Thanksgiving to start this, and normally there are only a couple of these a week (sometimes I'll go a whole week with out one at all). Well - there's one more tonight....
Portland -7- over Miami Again - a huge disadvantage for Miami who had no chance against Houston in their last game trying to defend size and get rebounds. They were outboarded 51-35 against a team that really isn't statistically as tough on the boards as you would think. Now, they face a really good rebounding team - particularly with Oden back in the fold. In their last game, they outrebounded Sacramento (who starts 3 players 6-11 or taller) 48-32, including 18 offensive rebounds! On top of this - Shawn Marion is out! I suppose that means that Diawara gets his PT - which is an enormous downgrade on the boards. Udonis Haslem has his work cut out for him defending Aldridge and fighting Oden, Aldridge and Pryzbilla under the basket. He won't have much help.

I think we can book this one...... outrebounding them 48-26 right now and absolutely dominating points in the paint.

Nice hit action, but if you could stick to the ones that win by 50+ from now on it would be appreciated, I prefer not to have to sweat them out.

Thanks guys - glad others profited. It is definitely much more enjoyable when these games are 48-point blowouts isn't it? Not sure Marion would have helped in this one - Portland outrebounded Miami 55-28! That's about as obscene of an advantage as you'll ever see. None today - but hopefully more soon.
(I particularly enjoyed the ONE rebound Diawara got in Marion's absence. LOL)
