its all about the expiring contracts. i think that mcgrady is due to be a free agent after this year. if the bulls get him, then let his contract run out, and not resign him, then they can use all of his money to spend on free agents..bosh, lebron, joe johnson and whoever else is out there. the bulls have stated publicly that they intend to be big players in this coming free-agent market and if they have another 10 million or so to spend, on top of the money they know they have ready to spend, they might get 2 pretty good players to compliment derrick rose.

LOL, the knicks and Bulls have indentical plans. It should be interesting. As a knicks fan, I'm really pumped because the Knicks will have the most cap space for this summmer in the nba. Everyone keeps talking about Lebron but he is simply the best of a long list to all-pro caliber players available.

iggs--surprised u wouldnt want him here? U get the possibility of a revitalized t-mac for a year with rose instead of hinrich or t-thom? I like thomas but t-mac would be a big wing who will score and if we give up close to nothin, why not go for it?
