TNell's Pop Play - Nuggets -12.5
PO this one good!!! Nuggets are playing very well at home and the altitude has been killer for visiting teams in the second half. This game should get pretty ugly at the end. Looking for the Nuggets to cover this spread easily. Nuggets only have one injury (Carter) and the Birdman is back in the nest. The Nets; however, are riddled with injuries and turmoil.
ALSO, look for a strong second half bet in this game. In Denver's last 3 home games here in Denver, has outscored its opponents by an average of 23 points in the second half. Tonight will be no differnent against the lowly Nets. Denver's last 3 home games: 11/21/09 vs Bulls: Denver was down by 3 at the half and won the game by 19 points (22 point second half difference)  11/17/09 vs Raptors: Denver and Toronto were tied at half tied 64-64 at the half and Denver won the game by 23 points (23 point second half difference)  11/13/09 vs L.A. Lakers: Denver was up by 2 at the half and won the game by 26 points (24 point second half difference.)  Is it the altitude or are teams giving up in the second half. I think it is the altitude. The over in this game looks pretty good also in this one. Although the Nets do not score alot of points, when they play the Nuggets they are in the mid 90's (95 point average in their last 2 games against the Nuggets.) while Denver, in the same games are putting up 121.5 points/game in their last two meetings. That is an average of 216.5 points per game. This game should allow for a blowout at the -12.5 and a huge second half bet along with a nice OVER play for the trifecta. 7* Nuggets -12.5 3* Nets/Nuggets OVER 203 LOOK FOR A HUGE SECOND HALF BET ON THE NUGGETS TO COMPLETE THE TRIFECTA!! Well, my hopes were very high and the Nuggets let me down for the most part.
7* Nuggets -12.5 3* Nets/Nuggets OVER 203 10* Units Denver -4 Second half!!! Notice the sh!t color for the second half push!! Sorry guys. +4 for the night but should have been at least a +14.
