Toronto Raptors Could win Eastern Conference

Cleveland #1
Orlando #2
Boston #3
Atlanta #4
Toronto #5
Miami #6
Charlotte #7
Milwaukee #8

This is how i see the Eastern Conference Summing Up the Season

Cleveland @ Milwaukee Cleveland Wins
Orlando @ Charlotte Orlando Wins
Boston @ Miami Boston Wins
Atlanta @ Toronto Raptors Win

Toronto @ Cleveland Toronto Wins

Boston @ Orlando Orlando Wins

Toronto @ Orlando Toronto Wins Eastern Conference Finals

Just my opinion and wish, if the Raptors ever had a chance at winning a Eastern Conference Tile in it's 15 year history , it's this year as long as everyone stays Healthy... They are under the Radar right now but a Force to be reconed with, with maybe the deepest possible bench in the NBA right now and 3 big men of which are offensively maybe the most dangerous shooters in the NBA right now... Chris Bosh , Hedo Turkoglu , Andrea Bargnani, plus they have beaten all these great teams

Wed, Oct 28 Cleveland 101-91
Sun, Jan 3 San Antonio 91-86
Wed, Jan 6 @ Orlando 108-103
Sun, Jan 24 LA Lakers 106-105

They have proven they can beat the best already

And they have 17 wins and just 6 losses in their last 23 Games

Now this is just my opinion and anything could happen between now and the play-offs but if they stay healthy watch - out Eastern Conference...

No chance. Atlanta is currently tied with Boston who they have the tiebreaker on for 3 and they are only 1 game back of the Magic for #2.

These are the 4 best teams in the East and will advance to the semis.

If anything Atlanta should be the sleeper for the East....not Toronto. Toronto is a weak team if you ask me. (compared to the top 4)

PEACE

man canadiens are some of the most unrealistic homers on this site. every year they have the jays winning the world series and now this

sorry obt but it's beyond a stretch to think that. the best teams play in the finals every year, no way to avoid that with best of 7's every series in the playoffs, and the raptors are most definitely NOT the best team in the east this year

i swear the nba section gets so out of hand around the all-star break. it's from all the lunatics needing something to do when football season is over so they litter this forum with crack pot theories and cries of fix.

although I agree with you that raptors don't have a chance WCO, you can't make this generalization of all Canadians seemingly homers on the site...you of all people...the guy I picked as poster of the year, common sense driven posts consistent...and then this....i'm appalled at the fact you have this opinion....but moreso

it's the fact that it's a Canadian that makes this statement ring louder than it should to you Americanos.....but in the end there are no more Canadian homers on here than your fellow bretheren below the 49th parrellel namely...sweetleaf and his pittsburgh delusions....jahred and rjb....chibob...jetman...just to name a few...homerism is a part of cheering for a team and the giving of the love (albeit delusional love but love nonetheless) but by no means is it a more Canadian thing than American on this site.

Outlandish statement yes, but geographically irrelevant imo.

Sorry to burst your bubble but right now but "statistically" by "Power Ranking" the Raptors are #8 in the NBA out of 30 teams, Thats pretty Impressive and they already beat the number 1 and number 2 teams already this year, the Lakers and Cleveland.

1 (1) Cavaliers 41-11 The Cavs are three W's away from the longest win streak in team history, on pace to win 65 games again and you can't even knock Mike Brown's offense any more. Our clear-cut No. 1s are fifth in offensive efficiency.

2 (2) Lakers 39-13 L.A. is the only team in Cleveland's zip code for best record and suddenly sports the West's best road record. Not that you'll hear anyone raving about either factoid. That's how high expectations are in Lakerland.

3 (5) Jazz 31-18 Eight straight wins? All by a margin of at least seven points? You have to go back to the glory days of March 1998, when Utah was headed for its second successive Western Conference crown, for the last time that happened.

4 (3) Nuggets 34-17 Stats like this one break things down so easily: Denver's magic number is 95 no matter who's in the lineup. The Nuggets are 15-0 when the opposition is held to 95 points or fewer ... with or without Melo or Chauncey.

5 (4) Magic 34-17 For all the doubt about how the parts fit post-Hedo, there's no way this team was as so-so as its 9-8 January suggests. The Celts, by comparison, are just 2-7 against the East's top four after another Magic win in Boston.

6 (6) Hawks 32-17 The Commish faces a tough call if Pierce or Garnett or another East forward has to pull out of All-Star Weekend. Josh Smith is widely considered to be the East's biggest snub, but would Stern dare to pick a third Hawk?

7 (15) Suns 31-21 Timely history lesson from the Arizona Republic's Bob Young with Nash just turning 36: John Stockton averaged 12 points and 8.5 assists as a 35-year-old; Nash is averaging 18.4 points and 11.1 assists this season.

8 (7) Raptors 28-23 Since that 146-115 humbling in Atlanta on Dec. 2 and the team meeting that followed, Toronto is 21-10. Which almost -- almost -- atones for the 130 points allowed to Indy after we moved the Raps all the way to No. 7.

Agree totally here, Raps too soft to do damage come playoff time.
