Tuesday Pick

I lost my Houston Rockets pick last night which was rather disappointing, seeing as they couldn't hold their lead. I'm Now 3-1 preseason, and here's my picks for today:

Clippers +3.5, here's why:
I don't think anyone is giving them enough credit for beating the Lakers by 27 points. It was a joint effort with Mike Taylor shooting 9/12 and getting 20 points, Rickey Davis shooting 5/10 and 3/5 three pointers getting 17 points. Although Baron and Tim Thomas are injured, I think the Clippers bench will be enough. As long as we get similar production from their team they can beat the spread.

The Thunder have home court advantage, and momentum after beating the Rockets last night, but if it wasn't for Kevin Durants late fourth quarter effort The Rockets probably would have won. The Thunder is arguably the worst team in the league, and the Clippers are looking sharp. This will be back to back games for the Thunder, meanwhile the Clippers are nice and rested.

The other game I was looking at was Philadelphia +2.5, but it's an unofficial pick.

I'm also going to add Spurs +5, here's why:
Spurs have been playing mainly their bench, with stars seeing limited minutes, and they have still managed to keep it close with both the Rockets and Hornets, all the time playing with out Manu. On top of that Chancy Billups got injured late game against the Bucks, and shouldn't be playing against the Spurs. The Pistons although 4-0, played the Bucks twice, a beat up wizards team and the Heat (which was a close game). They haven't had to play a high caliber team like the Spurs. If the Spurs starters see some more playing time they will defiantly keep this close, and probably win.

Also I can't see the Spurs going 0-3 and the pistons going 5-0 in the preseason.
