New Orleans +5 over Phoenix - again, rebounding mismatch.
Chicago +5- over Portland - like this one slightly lighter than the New Orleans pick.
Washington +6- over San Antonio - Spurs are NOT good on 2nd game of back-to-backs.

Oh yeah - to be clear.... NO and Chicago are system plays. Washington is the other play.

I like New Orleans to do it again.... they match up really, really well with Phoenix because they can hit the boards, defend and control tempo. Plus there are rumblings that Marion will be out because of the Shaq trade....even better.

Two bits of info action that virtually offset one another in this game.
One, Phoenix has already lost twice to NO this year I believe. Phoenix announcers were saying they get one more shot at the Hornets on Wednesday. Phoenix should be ready for a big effort. Hard to say whether loss of Marion will help or hinder their efforts at home. Marion has been disgruntled for the past year and Suns have some depth with Diaw coming in and capable of playing big minutes.

For NO, Chris Paul is coming off his worst game of the season. PArt of it due to getting five fouls in midway through the third...but then again D. Wms (all star snub) put it to him. Seemed there was some revenge there since they are inevitably compared and Paul is getting the favorable pub lately. Anyhow, got to expect that Paul will respond big time tonight

My play will be to take NO for the first half and if they(NO) are leading to take Phoenix to cover second half spread. Would lean to NO to cover overall, but there are better plays out there for me tonight.

paul--18 pts on 8/12 shooting, 3 rebs, 3 asst, 2 steals, 8 pt lead at half, i win and you looking good. i've still got to take phoenix -4.5 for the second half. hopefully we'll both cover. at worst it'll be a push for me.

Won the second one too - would have had my 3rd non-system play too, but lost on last possession.

I was 6-7 at one point this year with system plays. I'd say the system is COOKING at this point! 11-1-1 over last 13!
