WCO's NBA Playoffs Monday 4/20

Took my first loss last night but it was small. Trying to get back to winning again tonight:

*3 -- Chicago Bulls @ Boston Celtics OVER 196 (-110)

I look at it like this. Game 1 needed overtime in order to go over even despite the amazing performances from Rondo and Rose. Here's the thing though. Ben Gordon and Ray Allen were pretty much MIA the entire game, though Gordon woke up a little in the 4th.

You can't expect shooters as talented as Gordon and Allen to have off nights yet again, and both of them on the same night none the less. Gordon is the Bulls leading scorer and I think the Celtics will improve their help defense to keep Rose from slashing as often as he did, so Ben will step it up in game 2. Rose won't go for 36 again, but he's proven to be more athletic than anyone on Boston can handle and he'll still be able to get to the rim a ton and I expect him to shoot another 8-10 free throws in this game.

Same scenario for Boston. The Bulls will have to look to slow Rondo down and I expect Allen to get some looks because of this. He had quite a few in game 1 actually, they just weren't falling. He's too good a shooter to have another outing like that, especially with his team down a game and honestly on the ropes if they were to lose tonight.

Back with more later on, GL guys

Good luck Andy.

I see Gordon going off this game, and Ray Allen actually hitting shots.

i have my tix inhand. section 306 row 1.

will be standing out nicely in my green t shirt surrounded by a sea of red.

i actually like the Bulls..If they beat the C's then i will root for them. Should be a good rest of the series. C's win tonight and then need to take 1 in Chicago and its back to fun times.

I did take Bulls and Ml in game one, and the 8 1/2 tonight, but no ML. Since C's lost Garnett, they struggle running away in games. When laying 8 or more, since Feb 1st, covered just twice, against a couple of powerhouse teams, Memphis and Ok City. Stats forced the play for me.

GL to you and your Ice team..have a feeling in years to come could be some great playoffs looming.

i think every game in this series is going to be less than 5 pts in the end. With Bulls athletes they are going to be in every game and with no Garnett C's might get worn down on the defensive end....anyway....we will see...

yeah, i would love to see Hawks and B's in finals...would be awesome for one of those two to win after such a long time.
