WCO's NBA Playoffs Saturday 4/18

I'm jacked! My Bulls are back in the playoffs baby! I'll admit it right now that this is a half-homer play, but whatever, let's do it!

*4 -- Chicago Bulls +8½ (-110) @ Boston Celtics

Bulls 18-11 after the trade deadline and won 9 of their last 12 down the stretch, they are young and loaded with energy and confidence. The Celtics were taken to 7 games last year by the Hawks in the first round, and that was WITH Garnett, who would have been the toughest defensive assignment for Chicago in this series far and away.

I expect the Celtics to come into this game with a chip on their shoulder because a lot of people see them as vulnerable with the loss of KG, but trust me when I say the Bulls aren't looking at Boston as vulnerable.

Perception from most is that since Rose is the best player on the team that the Bulls have no playoff experience, but they do. Gordon and Hinrich were fundamental in the Bulls getting to the Eastern semifinals and eventually losing to Detroit 3 years ago and Brad Miller was involved in plenty of playoff wars. As far as Rose goes, I'm not worried about him being a rookie, he hasn't played like one the entire season and I don't expect him to start now.

I think the nerves will get to the Bulls a little at first and expect the Celtics to jump ahead early, but the Bulls have proven to be a team that plays 100% wire to wire and they'll come on late in the 3rd early in the 4th. Not saying they'll win, but expect a cover today.

you're mistaken, game 5 is where the Bulls take the surprising 3-2 lead on the defending champs

game 6 will be where the champs play like champs on the ropes and blow bulls out, game 7 is where rose drives with 5 seconds left and down 2, kicks to ben and ben knocks down the game winner
