Game 7

The line came out early Friday, the books opened up with the Hornets @ -2 and now it's @ -4 for New Orleans. IMO the line should of been @ PK because it's Game 7 and both teams will be giving it there all tomorrow. Here's why I think the line should of opened as a pick 'em play, both the Hornets and the Spurs have been playing solid, each team has covered the spread as home favorites in every game this series. I can understand how Las Vegas opened up New Orleans as small FAVS but what I don't understand now is how the line has moved two points into San Antonio backers favor to +4 now. If there is something the books sure know what they're good at doing, that's creating a whole lot of confusion for bettors. Is there now some value for San Antonio backers with the ML @ +160 for the Spurs to win SU or do you not get greedy and just take the points? Doesn't the Spurs playoff experience for the last decade count for anything? The public is backing San Antonio to cover and win SU yet the line has moved into their favor, I smell TRAP. After giving this game a little more thought I now like New Orleans to win and cover the spread a bit more now. Expect nothing to change in this series tomorrow as the Hornets move on to play the Lakers in the Western Conference Finals.

Prediction:
New Orleans by 3. SA misses a 3 at the buzzer.
