Why Doesn't New Jersey Dump Carter?

This guy proves year after year why he will never win a championship.... How does New Jersey drop 9 games straight? It isn't because of jason kidd or jefferson, it's because carter is lazy and plays lazy, looks lazy and doesn't seem to care weather they win or lose....... ever notice that carter always fines time to laugh on the floor even if his team are down by 20......... Carter is a curse....... and any team that plays him as a starter will be cursed because he will never give %100 in a game or a season..... I personally like jason kidd and the nets and think it's time they dumped carter while they still got a shot at making the playoffs..... ... and i'm not saying this because the nets blew a good lead in the last minute+ last night because i don't play sides, i play totals so this loss doesn't hurt me.... i just don't understand how new jersey can lose 9 straight with jefferson and kidd...

agree. Carter is gifted but I thank shipping him would be beneficial to this team right now.

Towards the end of his time in Toronto, it was embarrassing just to watch the guy. He has so much raw talent that he can't seem to wield in a productive fashion.

I am so thankful that he is someone else's problem now and I appreciate the hustle and intensity of guys like Bosh and Calderon even more now.

Vince Carter was given a generous contract by the Nets and now that they want him out of Jersey that contract seems to have backfired as the word around the league is NJ is shopping Carter but they cannot find anybody willing to take an injury prone, unmotivated, overpayed non-team player...so I think either they trade him for nothing like Toronto did, keep him, or possibly by out his contract. Either way...I think the Nets are probably going to trade Jason Kidd...he's is getting older now and clearly he will not have a chance to win a championship with New Jersey so...like last year the Lakers wanted Kidd but NJ wanted Kidd for Andrew Bynum straight up but LA turned it down...teams like Toronto, Boston and Cleveland will definetly look to pick up a point guard so it will be interesting to see if and where Kidd ends up...
