Washington's DeShawn Stevenson got the opponent he wanted in the first round and believes Cleveland is definitely vulnerable in their third first-round meeting in 3 years. "They are a very beatable team right now," Stevenson said. "We’re all happy to be playing them again." However, it will interesting to see if this trash talking hurts or helps the team.

Injuries continue to be a cause of concern for Cleveland after Sasha Pavlovic sprained his left ankle against Philadelphia on Monday. Star LeBron James rested his back in the regular-season finale against Detroit while centers Zydrunas Ilgauskas and Ben Wallace are also nursing back injuries.

Dallas will try to play the unfamiliar role of spoiler after getting knocked out of the playoffs a year ago as the top seed. The Mavs match up very well against the Hornets, who are not being taken lightly .They’re one of the most underrated teams in the league..I don’t know how you go through this Western Conference and do what they’ve done this year and they don’t get nearly as much respect. They’ve beaten everybody. That’s why they’re the No. 2 seed.

Many insiders believe the team with better point-guard play will win this series. Dallas' Jason Kidd recorded his 100th career triple double in a 111-98 win over New Orleans in the regular-season finale on Wednesday. However, the Hornets believe they have the advantage with a younger, quicker Chris Paul, who became the first player since Golden State's Tim Hardaway to average 20 points and 10 assists in the same season. We'll find out if the Kidd trade paid off here.
