Wow--Isiah Is Back With The Knicks !!!

and Dr J thought it wouldn't happen.

Isiah Thomas Returning To Knicks

August 6, 2010 1:35 PM

NEW YORK (AP) Isiah Thomas is back in the New York Knicks organization as a consultant, two years after he was fired as coach and team president. The Knicks announced Thomas’ role Friday, saying he would “assist the team’s senior management in various capacities, including player recruitment.”

Thomas had a dismal run as team president from December 2003-April 2008, with the Knicks missing the playoffs every year despite often having the league’s highest payroll. He was also the coach the final two seasons, getting dismissed after a 23-59 season in 2007-08.

But he’s remained close to the organization even while coaching Florida International University, a job he will keep.

Seth: Fogell, this ID says that you're 25 years old. Why wouldn't you just put 21, man?
Fogell: Seth, Seth, Seth. Listen up, ass-face: every day, hundreds of kids go into the liquor store with fake IDs, and every single one says they're 21. Pssh, how many 21 year olds do you think there are in this town? It's called f*cking strategy, alright?

The Knicks are the saddest franchise in sports. They deserve him

What are they thinking? Gosh, it just goes to show you, you may have all the money in the world, but that doesn't mean you have any smarts. What a horrible decision, but hey maybe they are better suited together.

That's just insane if you ask me. They are going to bring in someone who set their franchise back 10 years and might be considered the worst President/GM in the history of the NBA, just so he can help them land Melo?

I thought that's why they brought D'Antoni to coach so he would attract free agents?

I've said it before, Isiah must have something on Dolan. Its the only reasonable assumption one could make regarding them bringing him back.

the knicks deserve to lose and be a disgrace if they keep allowing this cancer to be around the organization

There are times when I think Dolan is intentionally running the franchise into the ground. I want Kevin Pritchard, if anyone (how is he still on the market??).
