Give a dog a bone!

The Cinderella Bengals(+3) have been quietly getting it done all year long. Yates has been anything but poetic. I replaced Shaub with him after Leinart went down and it cost me a fantasy championship. If it's a tough pill to swallow it's probably good medicine, but 3 afc north teams are going to be in the second round this year.

The ATL Falcons(+3) are going to remind us why they belong in the hunt for the SB. This is going to be a high scoring, TD rich environment, Matt Ryan's time to shine amidst a tough pass rush. Screens and flats in the backfield will keep the giants db's tight, b4 white and jones seal the deal. Then it'll be micheal turner time. Go falcons!

It's da pitts that a nice guy like tebow is gonna has his god fearing a** handed to him this weekend by a bad boy like ben (if ben can manage not to sexually assault on his way to the game). Pit is better off without mendenhall (thickest skull in the nfl) who couldn't find a hole if he rolled it in flour and aimed for the wet spot. This game's one big joke. Pit 20 Den 10.

Will the lions finally find their roar. Latoya Jackson (celebrity apprentice) might have an easier time predicting this one. I say Stafford's a stud, NWO wins but does not overwhelm. Smells like a backdoor cover doesn't it??

The Bengals have been getting it done all year?

Got it done like when they already lost to TJ Yates and these Texans in Cinci or got it done like facing a win and your in scenario and losing and needing help to get in?

The BEngals could very well take this game but this team has clearly been a different team in the second half than in the first.

The Bengals are in the playoffs aren't they? What were they projected to do? Win 4 maybe 5. Houston has as much downswing as Cinci, the difference is Cinci's oline hasn't allowed 2 other QB's to get shredded. Cinci's accomplishmets ought to be taken as a whole, not just on the basis of wk17. Unless i missed something, cin lost, ten won, so wo'd cinci get help from?

No doubt they deserve praise for getting in. But lets be honest here while you are talking about them making the playoffs after people didn't think they would, the Texans also made the playoffs, winning their division with a third string QB and less their starting QB, starting DE, and WR for the majority of the Year.

Anyway on to the game this weekend. PErsonally think the Texans take this one. I'm not in love with laying points with a rookie QB in the playoffs but we have two in this game and I'm more leaning to the Texans because of their coaching.

Lewis to me just plays too safe and Kubiak and Phillips will have a game plan to stop Green and Dalton which will make it very tough for the Bengals to take this one.

Finishing the second half of the season at 3-5 with wins against the Browns, Rams, and Cardinals isn't usually described as getting it done all year. I think that is what prolineinto is alluding to.
Having said that, this game is the more difficult to predict given two rookie qb's and it would not be a surprise to see the Bengals advance with their consistent play on D.

The Bungles and Dalton have way overachieved this year even thier own management have admitted this. Personally will be staying away from this game, if I had to choose I would be on the Texans becuase of 2 players who can break a game wideopen Arian Foster and Andre Johnson. BOL & Cheers Steve

Cincinnati had a nice year but they beat up on the weaklings of the NFL and when they actually had to play teams(playoff type teams) they lost. Last time these two met in Cincinnati, Houston fumbled the ball 3 times and still managed to put up over 400 yards against this Bengals defense and that was minus AJ who was out. Daniels and Kevin Walter were able to be open all friggen day and with AJ back this week, and the running duo threat of Tate and Foster to run play action off Houston should be able to do the same if not more at home. Other side of the ball Cincinnati were not even able to break 300 yards at home against this Texans defense and with this game now back in what should be a friggen loud stadium I don't expect to see much more from this Bengals offense.

Cincinnati defense against teams this year that didn't make the playoffs 17 points against
Cincinnati defense against teams that are in the playoffs 24 points against

Cincinnati against teams that didn't make the playoffs 9-0
Cincinnati against teams that did make the playoffs 0-7

Expect to see a 10+ point win for the Texans this week.

I much prefer Saturdays games to Sundays.

Right now without getting fully into them, except this Houston game as I wanted to get this play in because I wouldn't be that suprised to see it move up from -3 is what I am looking at

Houston
Cincinnati/Houston over(possibly, really liking the Texans to score points)

NewOrleans
Detroit/NewOrleans over(really hoping to see this line come down a bit but am expecting to see this go over regardless)

NYGiants? really have to look into this game more

Denver? without looking into this too much just think this is way to many points for the Steelers this weekend and I wouldn't be shocked at all to see a Tebow Miracle this Sunday with an outright Broncos victory

I agree Steve, Foster can change the game in a hurry. Then they also have Ben Tate to give Foster a breather and he is no slouch either.
