Seattle +3.5- actually like them to win this game outright so getting over a field goal for proline purposes looks very nice.

Carolina -8.5- leaning towards the Panthers here, but I just hate laying this many points with them. As good as they have been on offense this year there defense still isn't one I get excited in and even though they are playing the Bucs I am still a bit nervous about laying this many points. Will have to sleep on this one and decide in the morning whether to play it or not.

KCity -1.5- why not go back to the well with the Chiefs this week. They have already handled the Raiders easy earlier this year in Oakland, granted that was with Boller at QB and Palmer making his first appearance with the Raiders, but I do like the secondary of the Chiefs. Other side of the ball as I said last week, Orton is DA MAN, LOL!!!!

Good luck captain. I agree with the KC pick and like you like the Panthers but not sure if I can actually lay that many points with them.

I do like the Ravens tomorrow even though its a lot of points. They were embarassed on National TV last week and should show up at home against a Browns team that will have Senaca Wallace at QB again.

Philadelphia +.5- if the Giants win at 1pm then this game means absoloutely nothing for the Boys which makes me like this play even more(even though that will also mean the Eagles will be done as well). But even if this game means nothing for the Cowboys I still like the Eagles in this game simply because of matchups. Eagles biggest problem is stopping the run and with the Boys pretty much down to a guy off the street as probably their main running threat I like the Eagles to not get as hurt with that and have the game for the Boys in the arm of Romo against an Eagles team that can get pressure and have an above average secondary. Other side of the ball the Eagles showed a few weeks ago that you can pound the ball against this Cowboys defense and if you can get that established and have the Boys worrying about the run that only opens up the passing game for the Eagles.

Over the past few weeks i've noticed a trend that has proven to be moderately successful. Where a line moves the opposite way from what it should to inspire 50-50 action i've learned to take the team that the line movement does not favour. For example, NE vs MIA opened up NE-10.5, the line moves down to -9.5 with over 60% of the money on NE. If your bookie is happy where your money is, I assume this won't turn out well for the bettor. Anomolies exist in five games this week with IND already covering under thius trend. The other games are NE-MIA, take MIA, SF-SEA take SEA, CLE- BAL, take CLE, and JAC- TEN, take TEN. If i don't make the sharp play on any of these games, i'll at least stay off of them. GOOD LUCK this week. Here's hopping you all take your bookie to school!

Welcome to the Mall but here is the downpart to this philosophy, you speak about numbers but percentage of plays don't move the line, the amount of money bet does. So you may see one team with 90% of the bets on them but if the other team who only has 10% of the bets but more money spent then the line will more likely move to them.

Also I personally don't trust any of these so called number sites, you can go to 3,4 or 5 of these type of sites claiming to have public percentages and all of them can be completely different.

But best of luck to you on your system hope it works out for you especially since I am on Seattle today, LOL!!

Captain, I see what u mean. Ur right a percentave is not necessarily an accurate reflection of volume. However if a higher volume exists on a lower percentage, i would argue that it's a reflection of sharp money, which i'd play over public opinion any day of the week. GO BILLS!

I'd have to agree - as I am also riding JAC today, in a close running style, high defensive game, divisional game ATS.
