I'm not too sure how there is any other way for the lions to win then to out score them.
Brees and Stafford are at the same number last month these two met I would pick Stafford over again since they really have no run game to work with |

Should be a fun one tonight:
TICKET 1: STAFFORD OV (Will have to pass for his life just to keep up with NWO who average 41.1 PPG at home, much of which comes via their quick, long-throwing #1 ranked pass offence) BREES UN (Will come close to going OV with TE Graham now his favourite target in the offence. However, will likely have built considerable enough a lead by mid-4th that he'll more than likely be sitting and/or handing off to his backs to run the clock) COLSTON OV (Loves to throw to this guy ALMOST as much as his #1 NFL TE Jimmy G. DET pass def has fallen apart in recent weeks and the only thing that keeps this number UN is if NWO comes out the gate firing on all cylinders and puts the Lions away by half) PASS OV (If you're taking the UN good luck to you! With players Colston, Graham, Meachem & Megatron toeing the field today in a dome environment *where both clubs dwell*, I can't see how this number is not 50+. Also, it doesn't hurt when both clubs rank in the top 10 in NFL in passes completed 40+) TICKET 2: FUMBLES UN (DET doesn't have a rush offence and NWO RBs don't drop the ball...at least not since Reggie Bush left town) SACKS OV (Too much money and too much on the line not to think *DET* will be looking downfield too often, too late and that extra sack will push this number OV) RUSH OV (Even without 1st round pick RB Mark Ingram in the lineup, NWO possess arguably one of the best tandems in the league in RBs Ivory & Thomas AND THEY'RE THE FILLER BACKS!) PTR UN (Don't think either team will struggle too mightily on offence, at least not enough to warrant PTR kicks over FGMs) Here's my writeup on the game: det v NWO -11.5 vs SPR: NWO SU: NWO DET is a more than capable squad, especially when it comes to putting up points on the scoreboard. However, the Lions also allow the 10th most points in the NFL, have seen a drop in sack production from their best defensive player, DT Suh, from 2010 of more than half, are allowing 321.5 pass yards/game in their past 5 outings and were recently lit up as of last week on the road by GBay's backup QB Matt Flynn for 450 yards and 6 TDs in an all but must-win game. DET wanted to avoid NWO and no one can blame them. Having already lost this season vs the Saints in NWO by 2 TDs, DET also knows NWO haven't lost a game since October, have covered their last 7 straight games in which they were favoured vs the spread and average 41.1 PPG in the Superdome to go along with an 8-0 record on their home turf for the season. Minus first-round pick RB Mark Ingram this weekend won't hurt the Saints either as he is followed by RB Chris Ivory & RB Pierre Thomas, arguably two RBs who could start for many other squads. NWO will win this game BIG. Though they rank 30th in pass def, don't look for DET to expose NWO too often for passing scores. 8 out of the 10 top teams in the NFL have been the foes the Saints have squared off vs in 2011, averaging a relatively mediocre 25 PPG vs NWO who's own output was an average of 38 PPG. Good luck out there today with your picks. E.L.E. |

I'm going to assume the 4pm game will be a defensive match and this one a fireworks show
I get worried playing qbs overs with long pc over just cause if it's a 50 yard bomb I'd rather have 4 slot passes! |

TheGreek:
LgTD 55.5 ev LgPass Both QB's 42.5 ov -135 QBSacks 4 un -155 #Punts 7.5 un -120 LgFG 44.5 ev MSTA PC 26.5 ov -138 (PA 42.5 ov -140) DBRE PC 28.5 ov -160 (PA 41.5 ev) CAJO 6.5 un -130 MCOL 6 un -135 Like both QB's over, however not sure if I can pull the trigger for both of them on one ticket. Also like LgPass OV, QBSacks UN, LgPunt UN, Fumble UN. Not much value in either receiver over, but may take MCOL OV with DBRE OV on one ticket. |
