point spread tie inquiry

i have read the rules on OLG about point spread
http://proline.olg.ca/images/pointspread_rules.pdf

in the event that its a tie the winner for the point spread is for the underdog

what confused me was last to 2 sentences
3.8 Final points include extra play, if any
3.9 Points are based on the final score of the game

but in football they go into overtime...now for example

sea vs arz -2.5 for arz

they go into overtime ( i would assume SEA wins the point spread)
but what happens in overtime where ARZ scores a field goal...

does that mean ARZ wins the point spread in this case??

thanks for your help

For pointspread it is based on the final result including OT. So in your example Arizona would cover the -2.5. If it were a proline ticket it would be classified as a tie but lets say instead of Arizona winning by 3 they won by 6 in OT then the tie would pay out as well as Arizona to win by 4+

sea seems like the safe play at 4-2 as a dog vs the spread. arz offense isn't even 1 dimensional, it's non existent. If i had to pick in a "means nothing" game between two divisional opponents i'd take the better team. +2.5 pts is a bonus
