ProlinePlayer Picks

If Griz is so set on seeing some picks I'll try to post some as time allows.
I'll try to post a few of the best parlays available each day and track the results for you.

There are actually a ton of really strong plays on the list tonight but I'll cut it down to just a few.
5 parlays at $20 each (daily total not to exceed $100)

7v NYI + 12 Ott/La Under + 13 Spezza/Kopitar Tie (pays 15.20)
7v NYI + 15h NYI + 16h Tavares (pays 9.45)
12 Ott/La Under + 13 SpezzaKopitar Tie + 15h NYI + 16h Tavares (pays 22.98)
12 Ott/La Under + 13 Spezza/Kopitar Tie + 20h Florida (pays 13.98)
15h NYI + 16h Tavares + 20h Florida (pays 8.69)

Good luck if you feel like tailin'

like the edge plays, but realistically odds of NYI winning both games are possible but perhaps not probable

I thought you were adamant that cannot make money on 3 gamers, all of these are 3 gamers in rotation

Good luck PLP, like the correlated plays. It would be the way to go if you do play the provincial lottery.

You'll notice all have odds better than the 5X your wager for the 3 team point spreads. It's long term thinking here.

thanks for pointing this out, good point about pointspread never thought of the connection and the lower odds and that was plp was probably talking about

I think we may be talking apples and oranges here guys. If I understand correctly, PLP does not want to see folks playing 3-teamer pointspread. Proline and Props are different animals altogether.

Speaking of correlated parlays, I have been tracking these correlation plays on another board and the Hockey scorers/Hockey team correlation is coming in at just a shade over 53% for the season. The Hockey scorers tie/Hockey game total Under is at about 17%. Not saying these numbers are expected, worse or better, compared to previous years and not saying they will be like that, moving forward but if you were to play these correlated parlays religiously since the beginning of the year, you would be in the red.

Again, we don't play ANY combo blindly but for a historical and statistical perspective, I thought it's worth tracking EVERY combo and the numbers simply do not lie.

My 2 cents.

Doesn't matter to me whether Prolineplayer posts his plays or not. I've made money on plays like his since 2003, and I mean good money. The math behind PLP's edges is rock solid, and tracking it is only helpful if you track it for a very long time.

And btw Grizzly Joe, you sound an awful lot like Jorge.

17% clip for Under/Ties is actually good enough to make a profit since it implies odds of 5.88, and those plays usually pay over 6.

I'll do another thread on that later but as already pointed out it's different games, different strategies required.

True,

But the Nyi/Nyi combo by itself pays 5.25. The chance of the Nyi sweep would be almost 1 in 4. Possible enough.
