Raptors acquire Marc Gasol from Grizzlies for Jonas Valanciunas, Delon Wright, CJ Miles, 2024 second-round pick

Gasol not in his prime .
Philly and bucks just got better .
Toronto got weaker with the bench
Very stupid trade

Boston Philly Milwaukee look much better now

Milwaukee and Philly just made a huge push with there assets ... If Raptors don't make past second round consider every rebuild mode on deck with Davis if he doesn't go anywhere today will be gone to Boston

I agree, for the Bucks to pick up Mirotic to go with what they already have. I feel that we were playing at a high level before JV's injury, and have since slacked. Ibaka has been a workhorse for us this year and now what? He's goes to the bench? Gasol on the bench?
I really don't like this trade.

Here is what I think they will do
Raps will move ibaka to the 4
Move siakem to the 3
Gasol will start
Danny will now be on the 2nd unit
Gasol starts as the 5

Only thing I like about today is, we kept Siakam.
Almost every deals our GM telephoned, they kept asking Siakam.

My Daughter's thought on Football; Half players are fat, half are slim. Slim players only pass to slim players. I can say they are selfish & it's no fair! I feel bad for big boys, all they do is fell down awkwardly & never get the ball. Poor things...

I still think Boston is the most dangerous obstacle in playoffs. Yes Sir, Deers & 6ers added very good players. But too many chefs in the kitchen for 6ers. Deers? Their starting guards are still Drew Bledsoe and Malcom Brogdon. We can beat them in 7 game series.

Gasol is very good(if he is healthy). I like the deal because Gasol can make us better come playoffs time. Very true we gave up lots to get him but now our frontcourt defense is the best in the East.

For the rest of our regular season, this deal hurts us, but I like it because this deal is good for us in playoffs. Now I pray for Raps health & we get at least #2 seeds...

100% agree with u on the Celtics Chang
I feel like they have been playing a bit of possum
Playoff ball is so much diff than reg season
Celtics have enough balance, experience, coaching, defense, depth to match us
I hope you are correct about Gasol in terms of the playoffs
He does have a tonne of playoff experience

Here is how i hope the east will play out
#1 milw
#2 raps or Philly
#3 same as above
#4 celtics

It feels like they gave up too much for Gasol. But my feeling is that feeling might very well change if they roll in the playoffs, with Gasol. Then it'll look like a brilliant move.

And I think that might very well happen.

Everyone on here talking we got worse or the bench did..you don’t know what your talking about...mccaw can easily fill delons role, and without a question Marc is better in every aspect of the game than JV... we got a 5 than can stretch the floor and hit the 3 instead of JV waving it around in the air pretending he’s going to shoot..we got a 5 that’s an excellent passer and that’s all stuff that’s going to make it easier for kawhi. Watch how the new look raptors fair out and tell me I’m wrong ...here comes a nice 10 game win streak...
