WCLC Pools-Payouts vs profits

In a previous thread that I could not find, there was some question as to what OLG keeps as a percentage wagered. So I decided to call WCLC and see what they would tell me. They sent me an Excel spreadsheet showing Sales/Payout total/# of winners/ winners share for each and every card card dating back to the beginning. Too many to list obviously but here are the totals if anyone is interested.

Sales are $5,948,633.00

Payout is $3,569,181.00 to 3,554 winning tickets.

This includes all sports and every card up untill last night. Nice tidy profit. Could only imagine what the OLG rakes in.

That works out to a hold of 40%. Same as OLG.
