It's interesting to note how the number of ProPicks winners are about 3 times the number of Proline and Pointspread winners. That tells me 2 things

1. More people are playing ProPicks and are winning more. Whether they box a lot of games or are incredibly lucky or both is neither here nor there (This has been discussed ad nauseam in previous Pools threads). The fact of the matter is there are more ProPicks winners than the other 2 games combined, at least when you look at the big prizes (>= $1K). Now ProPicks can include Props, Pools and Skaters Picks but my guess is the majority of those ProPicks winners are Pools winners.

2. Either it is getting harder to win big sums on Proline and/or Pointspread or the smarter players are keeping their payout under $990 so that their names are not published all over the Internet.

Wouldnt be a factor out West here but I agree with point#2. Investor groups can have a ticket diviided between a sufficient enough of winners (shareholders), to ensure a below $1K win right?

Further to all of this. I agree that it has been like beating a dead horse discussing this.
It all comes down to one thing. JUST WIN BABY!

but there are a few poorline winnas who win allotta times ova $1,000 and they just keep makin some tickets ova $1,000 and cashin' em in and don't care at all that their names are published ova and ova again...

easy to spot who they are when you copy paste all da $1,000+ winnas ova months and months into a spreadsheet then sort by name lol...

Grizz, based on what you see in the spreadsheet, would you say those repeat winners got their winning tickets because of edge plays or it's hard to say? Are they individuals or part of a group or insider i.e. retailers, do you know?

Obviously, they have to be incredibly lucky to continue nailing big Proline tickets so I have to say they know what they are doing.

Well, one couldn't say fer certainty because you don't see the actual tickets, only the payouts. There may be people out there who regularly play allotta wtf ticket combos with payouts ova $1,000, or they may be using edge plays like 7th's ticket he posted in here a little while ago... It lists on the report if they are part of a group or an insider in the far right columns (Y or N), so you can see that... you can also sort by those columns then by name to see if any individual has won on their own, and as part of a group...

Well, one doesn't necessarily have to have brains to win on some poorline tickets... one can have access to allotta money and just keep bettin' and eventually the odds are you'll hit...

In order to keep playin' though you gotta either be makin' money at it or have access to more money...

i'm sure there are people out there who make allotta money with their regular job and playin' poorline is like their hobby... they have a thousand or more a month to have fun with, and if they win or lose it don't matter... in that case they can bet 200 X $5 on all kinds of combos fer a grand and go fer the high payouts fer fun and maybe hit one or so every few months and actually make money at it...

when i was playin' the edges fer a little while i was using plp's parlaymaker which can quickly arrange all the odds you input into any style ya want, fer example in overall edge order, including only 6 event combos, or only 3 etc... it was quite the program, and i'ma sure that there are those who regularly use it to output the highest edge combos on a daily basis and play em...

one thing though i'd say is that anyone doin' this should try to keep all individual ticket payouts unda $1,000... that way you stay outta the range of the openly public radar...

These guys that you see having won like upwards of 50k over a series of Pools cards are usually part of a group that are boxing games like crazy. NFL/NHL Pools get quite high and imo it's not that difficult to show a profit on some of these with the right setup, meaning having time and money. It's the age old rule in life, you must spend money to make money.

What is the penalty for buying more than the $100 limit? Are you imprisoned at the OLG prize office and forced to perform community service?

the chimps can tell where the tickets were bought...

if you show up with winning tickets that were purchased for more than $100 at the same store on the same day they will know that, and can refuse to pay out, on top of that the store may get into trouble if the tickets were bought close in time to each other because the store shoulda realized that you've already bet in there fer $100...

of course the greater the time difference then the less the chimps can hold the retailer responsible, but if they put through 20 X $100 tickets with all the same combo in a row over a coupla minutes then the chimps radar will be blarin' lol...

No the 100limit is for the store u will get ur money, but they limit the store to 1000 a day in case they decide to close shop and run. They told me i Can run to different stores and play as much asi want . I play $640, I see some guys doin 2560 box 9 at the store .it's up to olg to punish the store but they won't cause they usually call the store and say they want their money .also they limit the store due to paying 2 percent for sales commission . Those guys who have multiple wins ,all they do is box 8 ,9 take 2 guarantees . Imsure they have small pots too cause anything under a $1000 can be picked up at most retailers . And bylaw they have to publish a persons name for 30 days .just callolg and inquire they have to tell u . Theykeep 40 percent of the pools
