thios one goes aug 27th and is in Guerreros backyard. This is a fight of 2 completely different styles. Maidana is an absolute brawler with maybe the best ko power in his division. Guerrero is a boxer that is who would rather play the chess game with his opponent and out point him. Maidana is a guy who can look exceptional against a great fighter like Khan and far below average as he did against corley. Maidana is true at this weight which is an advantage as Guerrero is moving up in weight. Guerrero has beaten Katsids who I kind of liken to Maidana as both are brawlers and Guerrero just out boxed the hell out of him. The reason for my play is Guerrero is a very sound technical fighter and has to know that he will not stand a chance if he goes toe to to with Maidana. He is going to get hit and this is the thing that worries me a bit, Im not sure how he will react to being hit by someone with the power of Maidana. I think we will see Guerrero use his jab effectively sticking and moving in and out of harms way. this will be a close fight and in no way am i saying maidana cannot win, prob with maidana is he has been beaten the other 2 rtimes he has went for a title. This has Split decion written all ovr it with a rematch in the near future. Gueerros boxing iq and his defensive style should keep him out of trouble in the end. I would not be surprised to see guerrero on the ground which will make the fight a little closer and hopefully guerrero can recover. bol handjobs
