Rashad Evans vs. Tito Ortiz Headlines UFC 133

UFC president Dana White has just announced Tito Ortiz will serve as a last-minute substitute and headline the August 6th pay-per-view broadcast opposite Rashad Evans.

“Get ready philly for Rashad Evans vs Tito Ortiz!!! Aug 6th LIVE on PPV at the Wells Fargo Center!!!!!!” White tweeted moments ago.

The rumor mill ran rampant Tuesday with all sorts of creative possibilities after Phil Davis was forced out of the main event with a knee injury. In addition to Ortiz, Lyoto Machida was the other prominent name to hit the MMA grapevine. Both 205-pounders initially declined a rematch due to the last-minute invite, but it appears “The Huntington Beach Bad Boy” will now give it a go.

“Only for the UFC!” Ortiz tweeted just moments ago.

machida was a huge favorite over rashad. ufc puts tito in and he's more than a 4-1 underdog.

FCK,,, Rashad has some bad luck. Between him gettin injured and his Opponents getting injured.. Think his last 3 fights have been postponed or pushed back. This fight is a no win situation for Evans.. He gains nothing with a win and loses everythin with a loss
